Jordy Mongoy makes a Sittingbourne move
Sittingbourne have announced the arrival of Jordy Mongoy.
Jordy spent the second half of last season at Cray Wanderers, making nineteen appearances and scoring three goals. He had previously been playing in Pitching In Southern Premier for the Geordies of Hanwell Town.
The 24-25 season found him at Chatham Town, where he played thirty seven times and scored four goals after joining the Chats from Hemel Hempstead Town.
The midfielder ended the 23-24 season at Hastings United, playing ten times. He moved there from Billericay Town, where he had played four times- his second spell with the club, as he was also there during the 2018-19 campaign, when the Blues were in National League South.
In between his two blue periods, he played for Lewes and Bognor Regis Town. The last of those was on the Sussex coast, and he played for Bognor during the 20-21 and 21-22 seasons, the latter seeing him play thirty one times and score eleven goals. He was with Lewes during 2019-20, making twenty five appearances and scoring four times, and he has also had short previous Sussex spells with Hastings and East Grinstead Town, and a brief period with Bishop's Stortford.
Earlier in his career he played youth and first team football with Dagenham and Redbridge, and he has also spent time with Walton Casuals, Wealdstone and Farnborough, before taking his talents up to the north east, where he played for Spennymoor Town and South Shields.
