Noel-Williams departs Walthamstow
Manager Gifton Noel-Williams leaves Stow- less than two months after his arrival
Walthamstow have announced the departure of manager Gifton Noel-Williams- who only joined the club in May, so departs having not steered his side into a single senior match. A club statement explained:
'Walthamstow FC have regrettably parted company with first team manager Gifton Noel-Williams.
We appreciate there has been a lack of stability around the first team management position, but we have acted decisively to ensure we can be prepared for the start of the season on 8 August, and for a settled and successful future.'
Gifton, of course, is best known for his successful playing career with the likes of Watford, Burnley and Stoke City. He also spent time playing in the USA and Spain.
As a coach, he has worked with the England youth sides and at Watford, and has also worked with the Grenada national side, in India and with Watford Women, amongst others.
