Faversham Town made a trip to take on National League South side Maidenhead United in the FA Cup on Saturday September 13th, the Lilywhites hoping that their superb form so far would allow them to spring a surprise. The home fans will certainly have been rather taken aback when the visitors went ahead just before half time, but we were far less surprised to see that the scorer was Tashie-Jay Kwayie, as it was his eleventh of the campaign. Town had a long time to hold out, but hold out they did, claiming a famous victory.
