Perkins swaps beaches- and Huke also signs on
Teddy Perkins is back at Margate- and Ryan Huke joins him
Margate have welcomed back Teddy Perkins.
Teddy ended last season with Pitching In Isthmian North side Concord Rangers, playing half a dozen times.
Teddy Perkins, a defender, was an Under 18 at Leyton Orient, an Under 21 at Burnley and an Under 23 at Watford earlier in his career. He spent a very short period with Chipstead, before making a first move to Welling United, and spending time with Tonbridge Angels. He was announced as a signing for Canvey Island in the summer of 2022, but doesn't seem to have played there, instead spending some time along the road at Concord Rangers. He spent the vast majority of the 22-23 season with Chipstead, making twenty nine appearances, and played three times for Cray Valley PM early in the 23-24 season before being signed by Welling once more. He then moved on to Margate on loan, and during the 24-25 season spent a short time with South Park Reigate- four matches- before heading to Hastings United, where he played twelve times.
He was back at South Park at the start of last season, playing sixteen times before becoming a Beachboy.
Teddy is joined at Hartsdown Park by Ryan Huke.
Ryan spent time with Carshalton Athletic last season, on loan from Farnborough. He played nine times and scored twice.
He came through the Academy at Charlton Athletic, and indeed played with the Addicks until the end of the 24-25 season. Whilst at the Valley he won the London Senior Cup twice, and the Professional Development League Two South title.
The midfielder joined Farnborough in the summer of 2025, and made nineteen appearances. He left Boro in the summer.
