Purcell of Hayes

We're still catching up with last weekend's signing news, and the latest arrival at Hayes & Yeading United is Ben Purcell, who comes in on a dual registration deal from Farnham Town.

The midfielder came through the Reading Academy, and played for the Under 18 and Under 21 sides at the club. Whilst with the Royals he had loan spells at Hartley Wintney- where he played sixteen times at the tail end of 2022- and at Farnborough, making his debut at Dulwich Hamlet in February 2023. He left Reading in the summer to make a permanent move to Bracknell Town, and then joined Farnham in November, making twenty nine appearances as they won our South Central title.

He has made eight appearances for Farnham this season.
