Robinson of the Jammers
Keeper Bradley Robinson makes a Maldon and Tiptree debut
Maldon and Tiptree gave a debut to goalkeeper Bradley Robinson in their draw at Lewes on Saturday.
Bradley has spent the last few seasons with Waltham Abbey, and indeed picked up our Golden Gloves Award in October 2024 and February 2025. According to the Abbotts website he has made one hundred and forty eight appearances for the club, kept forty seven clean sheets, and even managed to score one goal- a penalty!
He has already played fourteen times this season, with four clean sheets, as the Abbotts adapt to life in the Pitching In Southern League once more.
Prior to becoming an Abbott, Bradley played for both Ware and Walthamstow- indeed, we thought he could only play for sides that began with W. Perhaps he thinks the Jammers are Waldon and Tiptree?
