Several new arrivals at the Docks

Jake Brocklebank, Alfie Fry and Tobias Braney arrive in Tilbury

In the lead up to the weekend, Tilbury announced a number of new arrivals.

Midfielder Jake Brocklebank has most recently been turning out in the Essex Senior League for Buckhurst Hill. He has also spent time with Basildon United this season, and previously played for Redbridge whilst they were at Step Five. Amongst his other clubs are Southend Manor, Thurrock and Peacehaven & Telscombe.

Alfie Fry returns to the club. The defender made forty three appearances for the Dockers last season, and indeed reached his fiftieth appearance for the club in November last year. Before becoming a Docker, he played for the successful Under 23 side at Brentwood Town.

Tobias Braney steps up from Hullbridge Sports, who these days are in the Essex Senior League. So far this season he has scored thirteen goals in sixteen matches- including four in an eight-nil win at Frenford and three in a three-one win over Basildon United. The striker spent time at Bowers and Pitsea last season, playing twice, and at Cheshunt, where he played twenty five times and scored nine goals.

Earlier in his career Tobias was part of the Bowers Under 18 side after departing the Academy at Millwall, and was so impressive that he was snapped up by Luton Town. As a Hatter he had loan spells at Chesham, Bishop's Stortford and Hayes & Yeading United, and he left Kenilworth Road in the summer of last year.
