Sheaf and Scrimshaw are a new Bognor duo
Ben Sheaf and Jake Scrimshaw rock up at the Rocks
Bognor Regis Town have added two new players to their squad with the new season on the horizon, with Ben Sheaf and Jake Scrimshaw the latest Rocks recruits.
Ben- who is not to be confused with the Wrexham midfielder of the same name- came through the Academy at Southampton and played for the Under 18 side at St Mary's, before moving on to Aldershot Town last year, where he played for the B team.
Jake Scrimshaw, a forward, came through the youth ranks at AFC Bournemouth. Whilst with the Cherries he had loan spells at Poole Town and Eastleigh, and then higher up the pyramid with Walsall, Newport County and Scunthorpe United. A permanent move to Yeovil Town followed, along with further permanent spells at Poole and Eastleigh.
He has also turned out for Gosport Borough, AFC Totton and Weymouth, and in more recent times for Downton, FC Stoneham and East Cowes Victoria, where he played thirteen times and scored four goals last season.
