Josh Strouts swaps Folkestone for Faversham
Faversham Town have brought in forward Josh Strouts from Pitching In Isthmian Premier champions- these days in National League South- Folkestone Invicta.
Josh joined Invicta in the summer of 2025, and played thirty seven times, scoring three goals. He also had a loan spell at Deal Town last season, scoring three goals in five matches.
Josh joined the Stripes after three successful seasons with Loughborough University. The forward helped his side to promotion during 23-24, when they finished third in the United Counties Premier North, and then defeated Skegness Town seven-nil in the Promotion Final. During the 24-25 season he helped them to a fifteenth place finish in Pitching In Northern Premier Division One Midlands, and we believe that they are the first student side to ever play at Step Four. He scored ten goals during 24-25, in forty two appearances.
He previously played youth football at Invicta, was part of the Chatham Town Academy,. and also played youth football for Gillingham.
