Three for Hayes
Kai Hobbs, KJ Osu and Joe Waight sign on at the Skyex
Hayes and Yeading United have announced three new arrivals, Kai Hobbs, KJ Osu and Joe Waight making a move.
Kai makes a move from Uxbridge, for whom he first signed in October 2023. He made twenty four appearances for the reds last season, thirty as they won promotion via the Play Offs in 24-25, and fourteen in 23-24.
Kai arrived at Uxbridge from Pitching In Southern Premier side Basingstoke Town. He initially signed on a dual registration deal.
Kai joined Stoke in the summer of 2023, after impressing during the 22-23 season at Binfield. He previously played youth football with Bracknell Town and Camberley Town, and was then magnificent for the Moles, playing forty four times- more than any other player that season.
Forward Joe Waight played twenty times for Hanwell Town last season, returning to the UK after time in the USA.
He was rather prolific for New Salamis during the 23-24 season, scoring sixteen goals in twenty three games. He joined the Salamina midway through the campaign after being similarly prolific for Wembley in the Combined Counties League, and was previously at Reading City- and with Reading as an Academy player. He has also spent time with Aveley, Haringey Borough and Bowers and Pitsea.
KJ Osu was playing for AFC Wimbledon's Academy when he first came our way with Staines Town at the end of 2019. He went on to play in Belgium and Italy, and then, rather nearer home, for hartley Wintney, Bedfont Sports, Bracknell Town, Farnham Town, Ashford Town, and twenty eight times for Hanworth Villa during 24-25. He played eleven times for Uxbridge last season.
