Three more Yachtsmen

Three more Yachtsmen

Charlie Norman, Sam Johnson and Josh Hazell are the latest arrivals at Wroxham

Wroxham have announced three further arrivals, as they continue their preparations for the 2025-26 Pitching In Isthmian North season.

Charlie Norman, a full back, makes the move from Lowestoft Town, where he played thirty eight times last season. That followed twenty eight appearances as they took our North Division title in 23-24, and forty one as they reached the Play Off Semi-Finals the season before. Prior to his time as a Trawler Boy he played for Sherringham and Norwich City.

Sam Johnson also comes in from Lowestoft. The attacking midfielder played for Norwich City and Oxford United as a youth, and joined the Trawler Boys as a left back in 2021. He made thirty seven appearances last season, which followed twenty five and nine goals as they took our title the season before, and thirty four with five goals in 22-23.

Josh Hazell was a Yachtsman fairly recently, indeed as recently as December 2023, when he moved on to join…Lowestoft Town. He made thirteen appearances for Wroxham during the 22-23 season, after being an almost ever present for the club during 21-22, playing forty four times. Josh was once on the books at Norwich City, and played youth and Under 23 football for Dereham Town, and joined the Yachtsmen after a successful period with Fakenham Town.
