Turner returns to Regent
Charlie Turner leaves Aveley to head back to the seaside
Brightlingsea Regent have brought in keeper Charlie Turner from Aveley- and gave him a debut in their draw against AFC Sudbury in midweek.
Charlie first joined Regent in June 2019, and played thirty eight times before covid ended the 19-20 campaign, before another ten appearances before 20-21 fell over. 21-22 brought forty three appearances, there were forty three more during 22-23, and four during the 24-25 season, too.
He joined Regent from Stansted, where he had won two cups, the Essex Senior League Golden Glove Award, and the Player of the Season Award. He was back with Stansted during 23-24.
He joined Aveley in April, and immediately shared our Golden Gloves Award with teammate Jonathan North. He only played twice, but they were both clean sheets! He has made eight appearances this season.
