Various Vale arrivals

Omarr Lawson, Jerry Puemo, Rae Bailey-Allen, Michael Elechi and Tyler Cox are the latest signings for Raynes Park Vale
New Raynes Park Vale boss Hayden Bird has strengthened his squad with a number of familiar Isthmian names.
Omarr Lawson was part of Bird's Leatherhead side last season, reaching the Play Off Final after playing forty six times and scoring six goals. That followed twenty four appearances and seven goals the previous season.
Omarr also played for Hayden at Kingstonian during the 2019-20 and 20-21 campaigns. After leaving the K's he turned out for Whitehawk, and he started the22-23 season at Sevenoaks Town, making five appearances. He then moved on to Ashford United, where he played eleven times, scoring four goals.
Prior to his time with the K's he played for Lewes. He made forty nine appearances for the Rooks in 2018-19, and started thirteen times as they won promotion the season before, after moving over from VCD Athletic. He started as a Dulwich Hamlet youth, and had trials at Portsmouth, Watford and Cardiff City before eventually signing for Bognor Regis Town. He then spent two seasons at Canvey Island, and also turned out for Crawley Down Gatwick during their Isthmian days.
This season he has played seven times for Southall.
Jerry Puemo comes in after a rather short spell- less than a fortnight- at AFC Croydon Athletic. Defender Jerry started this season with Pitching In Isthmian Premier side Lewes, and played twenty five times for the Rooks. Last season saw him play three times for Carshalton Athletic, and eighteen times for Leatherhead, as they narrowly missed out on promotion. That followed seventeen appearances for the Tanners during 22-23.
He previously spent time with Sittingbourne, and also played for Cheshunt, making half a dozen appearances at the end of the 21-22 campaign after moving over from Kingstonian, where he'd already played twenty six times- and scored twice. That was his third campaign for the K's, and prior to his time in red and white hoops he turned out for Basildon United, Bognor Regis Town and Farnborough.
Rae Bailey-Allen was at Merstham under his new boss, and was part of the Moatsiders squad that reached the FA Cup First Round in 2016-17. The winger spent a brief spell at Leatherhead last season- indeed his only appearance was in a four-one win against…Raynes Park Vale. He has also played for Croydon, Rising Ballers Kensington, and apparently Southall, although we can't seem to find any record of that.
Only two weeks ago we were announcing Tyler Cox's return to Leatherhead, but he has now decided to rejoin his former boss at Vale. Tyler has been with Kingstonian this season, playing ten times and scoring once, after starting the campaign with Whitehawk, playing five times. He was a Play Off Finalist with Leatherhead last season, his fifty one appearances with ten goals a big part of the Tanners success.
Prior to his move to Leatherhead, Tyler was at Sutton Common Rovers. He was the first name on the Rovers team sheet during the 22-23 season, making more appearances than anyone else. He played thirty eight times, and scored two goals- both of them crucial, as his side defeated Merstham and then won their promotion/relegation Play Off match against Crawley Down Gatwick. He was previously part of the Pitching In Isthmian South East promotion-winning squad at Herne Bay at the end of the 21-22 season.
He joined Bay from Ashford Town. He also previously spent time with Lingfield, who play in the SCEFL.
Michael Elechi, a defender, was part of the youth setup at Manchester United but spent most of his young career with Oxford United, playing at Under 21 level. He had loan spells with Oxford City and Chippenham Town, both at National League South level, and also spent time with Pitching In Southern Premier side Salisbury before leaving Oxford and moving to Leatherhead during 22-23. He made thirteen appearances that season, and another 24 last season. More recently he played three times for Lewes.
