Villa hold on to home advantage

We had little left to be decided as we approach the Play Offs- but Hanworth Villa held on to third despite Moneys hammering Field

Everything was already in order- almost. We already knew that Leatherhead were champions, and the Tanners ended the campaign with a two-nil victory over Bedfont Sports, and we already knew that Westfield would welcome AFC Portchester in the Play Off Semi-Finals. Westfield ended their regular season with a four-one walloping at Moneyfields, but the Moneys couldn’t grab third place as Hanworth Villa were also triumphant, the Villains defeated Raynes Park Vale two-one to ensure that they would be the hosts as the Mooneys head to West London on Wednesday evening.

At the other end of the table, Littlehampton Town’s defeat against Hayes & Yeading United on Tuesday ensured that the Golds filled the last relegation spot, going down with Met Police, Horndean and Fareham Town. Littlehampton ended their campaign by winning four-nil at the Deans, Met won three-two at Ascot United, whilst Fareham ended with a two-two draw against South Park Reigate.

Elsewhere, Bognor Regis Town defeated Binfield three-nil, Harrow Borough and Southall drew one-one, Hartley Wintney won three-nil at Hayes and Yeading United, Hendon and Egham Town drew two-two, whilst Kingstonian and AFC Portchester drew three-three.
