Vita Risk Solutions: Manager of the Month Award, February 2025

Here are our latest collection of Vita Risk Solutions Managers of the Month of 2025- a quartet of very deserved winners. 

Premier Division

We’re off to Essex- and to New Lodge- for the second time this season, to heap praise on Billericay Town boss Gary McCann. The Blues had a superb February, winning every match- Cray Valley PM, Bognor Regis Town, Lewes and Carshalton Athletic their victims as they soared to the top of the table. Perhaps Gary might let Femi Akinwande hold the trophy for a moment, as the striker helped his side with two hat tricks and scored seven goals during the month! 

Congrats to Gary, and to all of his Blues. 

North Division

We’ve just been to East London to deliver our Performance of the Month Award, and we’re off there again with our Manager of the Month prize.

Walthamstow had a fine February, defeating Wroxham, Maldon and Tiptree, Mildenhall Town and leaders Felixstowe and Walton United, thrusting themselves straight into the play off race as a consequence. Four matches, fourteen goals scored and entertainment galore- Vinny Murphy’s mob were our form team of February, and Vinny will have a shiny trophy to remember that success. Congrats to Vinny and to all at Wadham Lodge. 

South Central Division

Our South Central prize is off to Farnham for the third time this season, as we prepare to deliver it to Paul Johnson, manager of our leaders. Farnham had a fine February- although they weren’t alone, and in the end after we did the maths only took this award on goal difference! The month saw them hammer second place Kingstonian four-nil, hit Southall for five, defeat Leatherhead narrowly and draw with Moneyfields- who of course won January’s prize. They ended the month nine points clear of the top, testament to not only a superb February but a superb season so far. 

Congrats to Paul, who at this rate will need to build a new trophy cabinet. 

South East Division

For the second month in a row- and the third time this season- we’re off to the Kent coast to honour Ramsgate boss Ben Smith.

The Rams had four matches during the month, and won them all, putting four past Phoenix Sports, five past Broadbridge Heath, and also defeating East Grinstead Town and Sheppey United. Twelve goals scored, three conceded, and, at the end of the month, a nine point lead at the top.

Many congratulations to Ben and his Rams, who will shortly be in receipt of yet another trophy for their collection.
