Ward the Seasider

Felixstowe and Walton United have announced the arrival of Lester Ward, who comes in from Chelmsford City.

Lester, a defender, came through the Academy at the Clarets, and made his first team debut a towards the end of the 23-24 campaign. The 24-25 season saw him spend some time at Heybridge Swifts, playing three times, before returning to Chelmsford and winning the Academy Player of the Season Award whilst also playing for Halstead Town in the Essex Senior League.

His Under 19 side were the National League Alliance Under 19 Division A Champions, and he was regularly part of the first team squad.

Last season saw him come our way on a dual registration deal with Tilbury, and he went on to play thirty eight times for the Dockers.
