We start our South East Tuesday with twelve unbeaten records- how many will we have when it ends?

Peacehaven & Telscombe have made a fine start to their Step Four return, but suffered a Cup hiding against Margate on Saturday so will have something to prove as they travel along the coast to take on Eastbourne Town in a Sussex derby. The Magpies have the added incentive that if they defeat their hosts they will climb above Gate in the table- and indeed go second, above Sittingbourne. Town also suffered defeat in the Cup at the weekend, also against another South East side- Erith Town- and will hope to find their feet after three without a win in all competitions.

Herne Bay will finally kick off their South East campaign as they travel to Sheppey United. Bay, with striker Joe Taylor already showing his usual prowess in front of goal, have been sidetracked by their Cup and Trophy exploits- particularly that saga against Broadfields United which eventually saw them depart the former; whilst the Ites have also been full of goals so far, scoring fourteen in their first five competitive matches. D’Jean Spencer has been particularly prolific, grabbing six of those. 

The sides met four times last season in League and Cups, Bay winning the first two, the Ites the last two. 

Erith Town have a one hundred percent League record- but they have only played one match! The Dockers, who have won three of their four competitive matches so far this season with the only defeat coming on penalties, welcome Sevenoaks Town, Oaks looking for their first win of the campaign after two narrow defeats and a draw from their opening three competitive fixtures. 

The last six meetings between the sides have brought four draws and one win each- but the Dockers had the most recent success, escaping last season’s encounters with four points. 

Whitstable Town and Deal Town meet in a Kentish seaside derby. The Oysterboys are still looking for a first point after two matches, with their visitors in the same predicament after only one. The hosts have been in fine form in the Cup, however, and scored five goals without reply against Newhaven on Saturday; whilst Deal started the season with wins in Cup and Trophy but have since lost their last two in League and Cup.

Crowborough Athletic are at home to South Park Reigate. The Crows have three wins from four- and three clean sheets from four- in League and Cup so far, whilst the Sparks drew their South East opener against Broadbridge Heath last Tuesday, three days after defeating the same opponents in the FA Trophy.
