Wick announce Rocks ground share
Bognor Regis Town to have new tenants for 26-27
Bognor Regis Town have announced that SCFL side Wick are to move in to Nyewood Lane for the forthcoming season.
A statement from the Rocks explained:
'Wick will shortly begin development work at their ground at Crabtree Park. We have entered into a ground share agreement which will enable them to fulfil their home Southern Combination fixtures until around the end of 2026.
Once fixtures are released by both the Isthmian League and the SCFL, it is expected that Wick’s home fixtures will be played on Saturday afternoons on dates when the Rocks are playing away. There may be the occasional Sunday afternoon or Friday evening fixture. This will provide fans additional opportunities to watch games at Nyewood Lane and all facilities such as the bar and canteen will be open.'
Wick play at Step Five, the Southern Combination Football League Premier Division, and last season ended with them in thirteenth place. They explained:
'As we continue through a period of change at our football club and the future development at our ground, we would like to thank everyone for their patience, understanding, and ongoing support. We are pleased to confirm that our ground-sharing arrangement with Bognor Regis Town F.C. will commence from 01 August 2026.
We would like to place on record our gratitude to Bognor Regis Town FC for their cooperation and support. Ground sharing requires flexibility and understanding from all involved, and we are committed to working closely together to ensure a positive experience for both clubs and their communities.
While changes at the ground may bring some short-term challenges, they also represent an important step forward in securing a stronger future for our club. We remain focused on delivering the best possible environment for players, supporters, and visitors alike.'
