Williams makes a Sports move

Striker Dan Williams is back in Bedfont
Bedfont Sports had a new striker in their ranks as they took on Hanworth Villa in midweek- but he wasn't entirely new, as he played four times for them back in August, helped them to promotion last season, and was also there a few years ago.
Dan Williams scored nine goals in sixteen matches as Sports came through the Play Offs to return to us at the end of last season, and played four times with one goal before a return to another of his former clubs, Northwood, early this season.
His time with Woods has seen him score thirteen goals in twenty six appearances, but he leaves them in twentieth place in Pitching In Southern Division One Central, ten points from safety- and they may struggle to replace his prowess in front of goal.
Dan was also with Woods during the 23-24 campaign, returning to the club from Uxbridge- indeed he has played regularly for both clubs. He managed seventeen goals in forty appearances for Woods that season, and three more for Uxbridge. He also scored three goals in ten appearances for Northwood during 22-23- and six for Uxbridge.
He briefly played for Hendon during 2019-20- and at the start of the 22-23 season before heading for Uxbridge. In between those two Hendon spells he first played for Chalfont St Peter, and had a prolific 2019-20 season for the Saints, scoring sixteen goals in twenty three appearances, and then he moved to Tooting & Mitcham United, where he got five goals in his ten matches during the short 20-21 season and fourteen in twenty five during 21-22.
He also spent a short time with Sports during 21-22, where he got fourteen goals in twenty matches.
