Wisson back with the Ites
Josh Wisson returns to Sheppey
Sheppey United have announced the return of Josh Wisson.
Josh started last season with Sevenoaks Town, playing twenty five times and scoring four goals, and then following surgery ended the campaign at Bearsted, playing fourteen times.
Josh actually started the 24-25 season with Sheppey, and made four appearances prior to his move to Sevenoaks. He first signed for the Ites in December 2022, and went on to play twenty three times during the 22-23 season as his side narrowly missed out on the play off place that Hythe Town snatched at the last moment. He made another thirty one appearances- with five goals- during the 23-24 season, before leaving the club for Hythe Town, playing twenty one times before the campaign came to an end.
Josh originally joined the Ites after four and a half years at Ashford United. During his time at Homelands he helped the club to two Pitching In Isthmian South East Play Off Finals, although sadly didn't manage to end one with a promotion. He was previously with both Herne Bay and Sittingbourne- he was called up for the England Under 18's whilst a Brickie.
