You've got a friend...or two

Hayes and Yeading have announced a pair of new arrivals, James Taylor and Ross Derham moving to the Skyex.

Defender James Taylor has played for United previously, but more recently had even greater success as part of the Harborough Town side which swept to the Pitching In Isthmian Premier Central title last season. He made eighteen appearances after joining the club from Uxbridge, where- of course- he also won promotion during 24-25, playing forty one times and scoring four goals as the reds charged to the Play Offs before sealing a triumph in the Final. 

He originally joined Unxbridge on a dual registration deal from Chesham United,  and was with Harrow Borough during the 23-24 season. He has previously had three spells with Beaconsfield Town. and as well as a previous spell with his new club has also played for Egham Town and Bedfont Sports. 

Midfielder Ross has also been playing rather further north, with Alfreton Town, who of course were in National League North until April, when they were relegated by a narrow margin. He started the season with Mickleover in Pitching In Northern Premier Division One Midlands. 

24-25 saw him at the edge of the world, playing for Cornish side Mousehole. He was previously part of the Watford Academy.
