Zac is back -and in the goals- for the Nuts and Bolts

Ashford United brought back forward Zac Whitelock prior to Saturday's match at Merstham- and he spoiled the Moatsiders return home and the opening of their new 3G pitch by opening the scoring in a two-nil win for the Nuts and Bolts.

Zac comes in on loan from Gillingham for the second time this season. His first spell brought seven appearances and three goals.

He came through the Academy at the Gills, and is rather highly rated. He signed his first apprentice contract in the summer of 2024 and was part of the first team squad during pre-season.
