Zaid of the Bay

In the lead up to kick off on Saturday, Herne Bay announced the arrival of Zaid Al-Hussaini.

The winger/attacking midfielder was with Witham Town last season, briefly, playing only five times. He spent time with Potters Bar Town during the 2018-19 season, playing only twice after making a move from Derby County, where he had played for the Under 23 side after joining them from FFDTV Academy. 

He also had spells at Gloucester City, Hampton and Richmond Borough and Staines Town before joining Crawley Town, and whilst a Red Devil had loan spells at Weymouth, Chelmsford City, Chippenham Town and Maidstone United. He moved on to Farnborough after departing the Broadfield Stadium permanently, and went on to play for Chesham United.
