Dons defender new at Casuals

Corinthian-Casuals had a new face in their backline in the two-nil defeat at Sutton Common Rovers on Saturday, with Sean Sankanu making a debut in the number two shirt.

Sean, who is an imposing six foot two and still only seventeen years old, played for Barnet as an even-younger youth before joining AFC Wimbledon in October 2022. This is his first spell with a senior side, and he generally plays at centre back.

By the way, Casuals fans, he has his eighteenth birthday on January 21st, so you might want to invest in a cake!
