A collection in memory of Stuart Tree

Corinthian-Casuals are mourning the sudden loss of Stuart Tree- and are collecting for his family

Earlier this month we heard of the passing of Stuart Tree.

Stuart was a wonderful photographer, and we've used many of his images over the years. He was also a superb programme editor, regularly producing perhaps the best programme in the League whilst his beloved Corinthian-Casuals were with us. Beyond all of that, however, he was a kind, knowledgeable, welcoming and marvellous human being, and his loss at the age of just forty six is beyond tragic. Our love and sympathies go out to his partner Katja and his two year old son, Ethan, both of whom were very much the light of his life.

Casuals have set up a donation page in his honour, hoping to provide some financial support to his family, and so far it has raised an incredible twenty one and a half thousand pounds, which perhaps goes some way to reflect the esteem in which Stuart was held across the Non League Community.

We thought we'd include a link HERE, just in case you hadn't seen it and would like to donate.

Stuart's funeral will be held on Friday 8th May, and you can find the details HERE, but please note that if you plan to attend you are asked to RSVP.

Finally, Casuals produced a beautiful tribute, and you can read it here

Thanks for everything, Stu.

Our image below is the cover of his famous Tea Bars Calendar of 2022, which included refreshment from Tooting & Mitcham United, Wingate & Finchley, Corinthian-Casuals (of course), Folkestone Invicta, Binfield and Whitstable Town.
