A pair of full backs land in North London

Just before kick off on Saturday, Wingate and Finchley announced two new arrivals, both full backs, as Sam Beedie and Ayyuba Jambang signed on.

Sam came through the youth setup at West Bromwich Albion, playing for the Under 18 side, and can also play on the wing and in midfield.

Ayyuba has been our way before, as he spent some time at Chatham Town last season, on loan from Ipswich Town; indeed he made his debut in January in a win against his new team. He went on to play twelve times. 

Ayyuba started out at the Tractor Boys local rivals Norwich City, where he played for the Under 18 side, and moved on to Reading as an Under 21. He moved back to East Anglia and became a Tractor Boy in the summer of 2023, and during 2024 spent some time with Aveley in National League South, making his debut for the Millers in their FA Trophy Fifth Round tie with Bromley in February.
