A pair of Hawks

Geofrey Okonkwo and Jordan Maguire-Drew are new arrivals at Whitehawk
Whitehawk have announced two new arrivals, both of whom have experience at a higher level.
Geofrey Okonkwo and Jordan Maguire-Drew are the new duo.
Defender Geoffrey, of course, won promotion from Pitching In Isthmian North with Bowers and Pitsea last season, playing thirty six times, but has spent this season at Chelmsford City in National League South- although he has had a loan spell back at Bowers, playing thirteen times. He was previously with Grays Athletic, and prior to his time with Grays was with another National League side, Braintree Town. He spent time with Cray Wanderers during 2019-20, and has also turned out for VCD Athletic FC, Staines Town and Greenwich Borough.
Midfielder Jordan came through the ranks at Brighton and Hove Albion, and you might remember him lighting up our South Division- as it then was- on loan at Worthing as they won promotion. He spent 2016-17 on loan at Dagenham & Redbridge and was once more a big success, which led to loan spells at Lincoln City, Coventry City and Wrexham, before two seasons with Leyton Orient.
He has since played for Grimsby Town, Yeovil Town, Barnet and, most recently, Weymouth- and if he has anything like the impact he had when he was last in our ranks, Hawks fans will be in for a treat.
