Toby Aromolaran swaps Hashtag United for landlords Aveley
Promotion-chasing Pitching In Isthmian Premier side Aveley prepared for their first fixture of 2206 by signing a player from their tenants, Hashtag United- Toby Aromolaran making the rather short journey.
Toby has become something of a legend at the Tags. He first joined the club in 21-22, scoring twice in twenty two appearances, and followed that with forty matches and ten appearances during 22-23, helping them to promotion. He got eight goals in twenty four appearances as the Tags adapted well to top flight life in 23-24, as well as reaching the Velocity Cup Final, and played forty four times with ten goals last season.
This season has seen him play twelve times.
After playing youth football for Thurrock Toby joined Tilbury, and he went on to play for Basildon United, Witham Town and Cheshunt, as well as a short stint at Coalville Town and another spell at the Dockers.
He is also known for his television appearances on Love Island and various spin offs.
