Femi Akinwande makes a Potters Bar move

Potters Bar Town have announced the arrival of striker Femi Akinwande, who makes a move from bottom four rivals Welling United.

Femi joined Wings from Billericay Town in September, and he has made a dozen appearances.

He played youth football for Millwall and Dartford, and has much experience at our level and higher. He played for Tonbridge Angels and Billericay Town- both at National League South level- and he has also turned out for the likes of Stevenage, Concord Rangers, East Thurrock United and Colchester United.

He was a big part of the Haringey Borough squad which reached the First Round of the FA Cup during the 2018-19 season, before finishing the Premier Division season in third place. The 22-23 season saw him arrive at Carshalton Athletic , where he scored eleven goals in his thirty eight appearances, and he started the 23-24 season at Hastings United, scoring eight goals in fourteen matches, before a move to Hornchurch, where he helped power the Urchins to the title. He managed eighteen goals in twenty seven appearances for the Urchins as they won promotion, and then played another nineteen times in National League South last season before moving back to Billericay, where he managed fifteen goals in thirty appearances. This season he's played ten times for Town, scoring twice.
