Anyadike flies in at Welling

Demaray Anyadike is the latest Welling arrival

Welling United are continuing to get their transfer business done early, the latest arrival confirmed as Demaray Anyadike.

The winger spent nearly all of last season at Potters Bar Town, where he played thirty four times and scored eleven goals. He started the campaign at Wingate & Finchley, playing twice.

He was at Hendon at the start of the 24-25 season, but left before it had even begun, heading back to one of his former clubs, Royston Town.

Demaray previously spent time with Hullbridge Sports during the 21-22 season and was more recently at Walthamstow. Demaray was on loan at Sports from Southend United, and had already had a loan spell at Harlow Town. He made nineteen appearances for Walthamstow in the first half of the 23-24 season, before moving on to Royston.

Boss Ryan Maxwell stated:

“He's a very exciting player! He’s got real potential too. He’s got pace , he’s direct and doesn’t give up! To score 1 in 3 for a team who were relegated shows you what he’s capable of and I’m really delighted to secure his services."
