Bartlett-Antwi makes a scoring start for the Blues
Ruben Bartlett-Antwi helps fire Wingate and Finchley to the Velocity Cup Final- on his debut
Wingate and Finchley reached the Velocity Cup Final earlier this week, coming from behind to defeat Redbridge in the Semi-Final- and the man who fired in their equaliser was Ruben Bartlett-Antwi, who arrives on a dual-registration deal from Enfield Town.
Ruben has already been our way this season, spending time with Dulwich Hamlet on a dual registration deal from Slough Town. He played four times for the South Londoners, scoring once, before a return to Slough and then a move to the Towners.
Ruben was with Leatherhead last season, scoring fourteen goals in thirty one matches. Those goals need to be added to the nine goals in nineteen appearances that he'd already scored for Basildon United prior to that move to Fetcham Grove.
He also scored three goals in ten matches during the closing stages of the 23-24 season.
Prior to joining Basildon he had scored fifteen goals in thirty one matches for Essex Senior League side West Essex. He previously spent some time as a youth with Haringey Borough, and has also played for FC Romania.
