Jamie Bennett makes a Brentwood debut in midweek defeat
Brentwood Town gave a debut to Jamie Bennett in Tuesday's defeat against Stanway Rovers, the forward making a move from Braintree Town.
Jamie will have had mixed feelings about defeat against Rovers, as he played a big part in their success last season, his fourteen goals in thirty four matches helping them reach the Pitching In Isthmian North Play Off Final. He also helped them to promotion to our level the previous season, scoring fourteen goals in forty appearances as they took the Essex Senior League title.
He moved from Rovers to Braintree in the summer.
He played youth football with Ipswich Town and has also played for Stowmarket Town, AFC Sudbury and Haringey Borough.
