Borough bring in Yannis
Yannis Drais sails in at the seaside
Prior to Saturday's match at Aveley Eastbourne Borough introduced a new signing, Yannis Drais the new man at the seaside.
Yannis played youth football for RC Lens in his native France, before heading to our shores and playing for Cardiff City at Under 18 and Under 21 level. Back in France he then turned out for Drancy, Avoine Olympique and Besançon, before returning to the UK with Aldershot Town. Spells at Dover Athletic and Welling United followed, before he first came our way- briefly- with Herne Bay during the 22-23 season, playing four times and scoring on his debut (although technically he also played for Enfield Town in a County Cup competition some years ago).
He spent time at Eastbourne United last season, playing nine times and scoring three goals.
