Bowry and Williams head to the seaside
Dan Bowry and Oghosa Williams are new at Whitehawk
Whitehawk have strengthened at both ends, with forward Oghosa Williams and defender Dan Bowry the latest recruits.
You'll know Dan well, as he makes a move from Cray Valley PM, where he played twenty one times last season.
The defender came through the youth setup at Charlton Athletic, and at the end of the 2017-18 season first came our way, spending some time on loan at Kingstonian, where he played seven times. He also had a loan spell at Hampton and Richmond Borough in National League South before moving on to join Cheltenham Town on a permanent deal.
Whilst with the Robins he had loan spells at Bath City and Wealdstone before a permanent move to Kings Lynn Town, and he then spent the 22-23 season in National League South with Worthing. He moved to St Albans City in the summer of 2023, and during the 24-25 season spent some time away from the Saints at Cray Valley, playing thirty two times up to and including the Play Off Semi-Final.
He started last season at Lewes, playing six times, before returning to the Artic Stadium in October.
He plays international football for Antigua and Barbuda.
Striker Oghosa steps up from Step Six where he was magnificent in SCEFL Division One for Greenwich Borough last season. According to the Hawks he scored forty goals last season (we've counted thirty six but it's very likely that the internet is not being our friend on this occasion!). He also played for Borough during the previous campaign after stepping up from their youth setup, and immediately hit the ground running.
He previously played youth football for Welling United, has also turned out for Holmesdale, and can apparently play through the middle or on the wing.
