Chaynie Burgin makes a Hashtag move
Hashtag United revealed a new face as they took on Carshalton Athletic on Saturday, Chaynie Burgin making the move to Parkside.
Chaynie Burgin started this season with Sittingbourne, but played only twice, and followed that with three matches for Erith Town. He then moved to Chatham Town, playing eight times and scoring three goals.
The forward spent time with Potters Bar Town last season, playing twelve times and scoring four goals after joining the Scholars on a dual registration deal from Woodford Town. He then moved on to end the campaign with Hanwell Town.
Chaynie also spent some time with the Scholars during the 23-24 season, joining in the summer of 2023 but- so far as we can see- never making an appearance. He moved to Bar after spending the second half of the 22-23 season playing Pitching In Isthmian South East football with Sittingbourne, a big part of their surge up the table, scoring seven goals in his twenty matches and appearing on the losing side only four times.
He moved to the Brickies from the Pitching In Isthmian Premier Division, where he made twenty two appearances for Haringey Borough, scoring six goals. He spent time during the 21-22 season in Pitching In Isthmian North with Maldon & Tiptree, playing only once- and scoring- in victory over local rivals Heybridge Swifts. He previously played for National League South side Braintree Town, and before becoming an Iron was at Woodford Town of the Essex Senior League, where he managed a rather impressive fourteen goals from sixteen matches in the early part of the 21-22 campaign.
