Adeyinka Cole makes a Whyteleafe move
AFC Whyteleafe are looking forward to a first season as a Premier Division side, and their first signing is Ade Cole, most recently at Premier Play Off Finalists Brentwood Town.
Adeyinka joined Brentwood in January 2025, and helped his new side to the Pitching In Isthmian North title. He then played forty times last season, scoring in the Blues Semi-Final win at Aveley.
Ade made the move to Brentwood from Walthamstow. He joined Walthamstow in the closing stages of the 23-24 season, making six appearances- and made nine more during 24-25 before heading to the Arena.
Midfielder Ade spent most of the 23-24 season playing Pitching In Isthmian Premier football with Folkestone Invicta, and made thirty four appearances. He moved to Invicta after departing local rivals Margate, for whom he played thirty five times- with two goals- during 22-23. Ade ended 21-22 season with Maldon and Tiptree, and was rather prolific, scoring six goals in five matches as his side narrowly missed out on the top five. He started the campaign with Maldon's local rivals Heybridge Swifts, playing three times, and in between was at Haringey Borough, making twenty two appearances after moving to London from Essex.
Ade starred for Leiston and Grays Athletic after coming through the youth ranks at Blackpool. You'll have perhaps also seen him at Dulwich Hamlet, Enfield Town, Aveley and Romford- or at a higher level with Hemel Hempstead Town, Billericay Town and Braintree Town.
