Cooper gets Wings

Welling United have brought in centre back Nathan Cooper from Hornchurch- the Urchins called him Nathan Bertram-Cooper, which might help you distinguish him from the Whitehawk player of the same name.

Nathan is something of an Urchins legend, making more than three hundred appearances for the club in two spells after initially joining them from Romford back in September 2015. He made twenty nine appearances last season as his side won promotion to Non League's top flight, and you'll also remember him as part of the side that took our title in 23-24, and of course won the FA Trophy in 20-21. 

He has also turned out for Hemel Hempstead Town and Braintree Town.
