Croydon bring back two familiar faces

Croydon Athletic have announced the return of Finlay Marjoram and Cian McCarthy.

Full back Finley spent some time at Athletic during the 24-25 season, playing nine times, when he was on loan there from Premier League neighbours Crystal Palace.

He was a regular at Under 18 and Under 21 level for the Eagles before leaving Selhurst Park in the summer of 2025, and spent time with Folkestone Invicta last season, playing five times and scoring twice. He then moved on to Dover Athletic in National League South- and he was offered a new contract there in May.

Cian has already played one hundred and twenty six times for the Rams- including thirty five last season. He previously played for Holmesdale and, as an Under 18, for Bromley. 

Cian ended last season at Herne Bay, where he played nine times.
