Darts hit the top

Dartford had the chance to take over from Enfield Town at the top of Pitching In Isthmian Premier- and it was a chance they took, although visitors Whitehawk put up great resistance. Max Fiddes was the Darts hero, first finishing off a cross from Brandon Davey on twenty one minutes, and later finishing a cross from his manager, Ben Greenhalgh for two six minutes into the second half. In between the goals Karmani Ryan had levelled for the Hawks on the half hour, but the points remained at home, two-one the final score.

Dulwich Hamlet are up to fifth, after a two-nil Champion Hill win over Aveley. Hamlet went ahead just before the break, Caspar Mico the scorer, and early in the second half Ogo Obi curled home number two to make quite sure of the points. 

Cray Wanderers travelled to Essex to take on Maldon & Tiptree, and delivered a five star performance on the road. An own goal gave them a head start on six minutes, and the visitors took a stranglehold on the match in the minutes before half time, Soul Kader adding number two and Sammie Mcleod number three. Sixteen minutes from time Ade Yusuff got number four, and although Sam Adeyeye briefly gave the home fans something to cheer by getting a goal back, the visitors had the last word, Ola Ogunwamide adding a fifth. Just to rub salt in the wound, the hosts ended the match with ten men, Scott Simmons sent off. 

Tonight AFC Whyteleafe will host Brentwood Town, the sides only separated by goal difference at the wrong end of the table. Town saw a two match winning run come to an end on Saturday- albeit only on penalties, whilst Leafe also saw some improved form come to an end as Whitehawk knocked them out of the Trophy. Both sides will be determined to bounce back.
