Dempsey and Pinto sign on at Ashford United
De Niro Pinto and Will Dempsey are new for the Nuts and Bolts
Ashford United have brought in De Niro Pinto and Will Dempsey.
Defender Will came through the ranks at Gillingham, playing for the Under 18 side at Priestfield before heading out on loan to SCEFL side Lordswood. He moved to Folkestone Invicta in the summer of 2023, making five appearances, and went on to play for Lydd Town; indeed he was their player of the season for 24-25. He also finished the 25-26 campaign at Lydd, but he spent most of last season at Hythe Town, playing twenty six times.
De Niro has most recently been playing in Gibraltar, but he has played for a few of our teams previously. After a spell with Maidstone United he spent time with Sheppey United, Beckenham Town and Eastbourne Borough, before a spell with Hastings United during 22-23, playing eight times. He then spent time with Punjab United before heading to the Rock.
