Dunne and dusted!

Aveley's second summer arrival is Louis Dunne, who spent last season winning the Pitching In Isthmian North title with Maldon & Tiptree. Louis made thirty five appearances for the Jammers, and scored two goals. 

The midfielder came through the ranks at Colchester United, from where he had loan spells at Concord Rangers- then in the National League- and Farnborough. He eventually signed permanently for Boro, before moving to Chelmsford City in 2021. 

Whilst with the Clarets, as well as playing fairly regularly for the first team he had loan spells at Coggeshall Town and Hayes & Yeading United. He played for the Republic of Ireland at Under 15, Under 17 and Under 18 level. 

The 24-25 season saw him spend time on loan at Pitching In Isthmian Premier side Dartford, making twenty four appearances in total- the last of them from the bench in Play Off Final defeat against Dover Athletic.
