Effiong is a Saint once more
National League forward Inih Effiong returns to St Albans City
St Albans City are delighted to announce the signing of Inih Effiong- a player who was with the Saints seventeen years ago, at the age of seventeen.
Inih's early senior career saw him alternate between the Saints and Boreham Wood, playing two seasons with each club before a move to Chesham United. The forward then had a prolific period with Biggleswade Town, which brought as a reward elevation to a higher level, initially with Barrow and then with Woking.
He spent a little time north of the border with Ross County before a move to Dover Athletic, where he spent two seasons, attracting the attention of Stevenage, before time with Barnet and Notts County.
Post pandemic he arrived back at Woking, before a season at Aldershot Town and another at Dagenham & Redbridge. Time at Braintree Town was followed by another spell at Woking, and he ended last season at Eastleigh.
