Ekpiteta swaps Millers for Millers

Cray Valley have announced the signing of defender Marvel Ekpiteta, who made the move from those other Pitching In Isthmian Premier Millers, Aveley. He made his debut in victory over Ramsgate on Saturday. 

He made four appearances for Aveley. 

Marvel spent last season with Folkestone Invicta, where he made thirty appearances.

He ended the 23-24 season in Pitching In Southern Premier with Hayes & Yeading United, after turning out at Dulwich Hamlet earlier in the campaign. He made five Hamlet appearances during September 2023. 

He was previously with Billericay Town, making forty nine appearances during the 22-23 campaign, and had been a Blue for two years. As a youth he played for Stevenage and Oxford United, and he first came to our notice when joining Heybridge Swifts on loan from Chelmsford City during the 2015-16 campaign. He moved on to have two spells with Bishop's Stortford with a spell at East Thurrock United in between, and has also played for Wealdstone, Hungerford Town, Newport County, Ebbsfleet United, Macclesfield Town and Dover Athletic.
