Fiddes of the Hill

Max Fiddes strengthens Burgess Hill Town
Burgess Hill Town prepared for the weekend with the signing of Max Fiddes, the forward coming in on loan from Dover Athletic.
Forward Max came through the youth setup at Reading before making a move to Southend United, where he played Under 18 football and had a loan spell at East Thurrock United, playing six times and scoring one goal at the end of the 22-23 campaign. During the 23-24 season he spent time in Scotland, playing for Queens Park, and moved to Dover in February before spending time on loan at Bowers and Pitsea, where he played ten times and scored three goals.
This season has seen him have a loan spell at Canvey Island, where he scored seven goals in ten games- including two in a win at Hill last month, and one against then-leaders Brentwood Town that brought his former side our Shepherd Neame Performance of the Month award.
