Furlong becomes a Saint

St Albans City have signed Darion Furlong,  a highly rated defender who played thirty three times for Cheshunt in our top flight last season. 

That followed thirty nine appearances for the Ambers in 24-25, and eleven in the closing stages of 23-24. 

Darion was previously with Ware, Hitchin Town, Leverstock Green and London Colney- and also with Potters Bar Town, briefly. His dad is Paul Furlong, who you will remember from his time with the likes of Chelsea and QPR (and more importantly, Enfield), and his brother is Darnell of Ipswich Town.
