Yet another added time goal for Glen Rea earns Hill a point on the road

Cray Wanderers, in sixth, played host to Burgess Hill Town, the Hillians three places and four points further back. Wands ended a seven match winless run with victory at Welling last time out, whilst the Hillians had lost only once in their previous eight matches and were expected to pose a tough test.

Cray took the lead on nineteen minutes, Chris Dickson the scorer, and added a second six minutes later, Lateef Adaja with that one, his fifth of the season. The Hillians were back in the match twelve minutes into the second half, Luther Williams bringing hope to the travelling faithful, and that hope was rewarded when Martyn Box made it two-two seven minutes later. That poked the hosts into action once more, and they regained the lead nineteen minutes from time, Kareem Isiaka making it three-two. Surely that was enough? Sadly for the home fans, it wasn’t- and four minutes into added time a red card for new signing Harry Revill was followed by a goal from the spot for Glen Rea, three-three as Rea scored his third goal this month, all of them arriving late on, two of them in added time!
