Highlights: Dover Athletic 0 Chatham Town 1

Fifth place Dover Athletic, having won only one of their previous seven, wanted to get their season back on track as Chatham Town came to call. That poor run had seen Athletic, for so long our leaders, fall to fifth- twelve points away from the summit but, perhaps more worryingly, only two points clear of Carshalton Athletic in the battle for a play off place. Their match against the Chats was Dover’s game in hand over the Robins, but- like much of what has recently preceded it- it didn’t end well.

Chatham have been in fine form and climbing the table. They brought a five match unbeaten run to Crabble, and on twenty eight minutes they got what proved to be the winner, Trevon Bryan scoring his first Chats goal in his fifth match and securing three points. Chatham are up to ninth- eight points behind their hosts.
