Two goals in the early stages- and a point each for the Stripes and the Scholars
Folkestone Invicta and Potters Bar Town were separated only by goal difference in favour of the Kentish Seasiders, and they met at the seaside. Invicta had lost their last three, but went ahead on seventeen minutes courtesy of Jack Jebb, only to find themselves quickly pegged back, Joe Payne scoring on his latest Scholars debut only three minutes later. The scoring stopped there, the nine hundred and thirty seven in attendance having to be happy with a point apiece.
The Scholars have only defeated the Stripes twice in twelve attempts.
