Resilient Hendon come from behind to take a point

Sixth place Hashtag United had closed to within three points of the top five after a run of only two defeats in ten. The Tags were on the road to Hendon, the Greens without a league win since November 26th despite some recent improved form, and five points from safety- and the home crowd were stunned when the visitors took the lead in the very first minute, Luke May-Parrott scoring his thirteenth goal of the season. The visitors doubled their lead midway through the first half, Misha Djemaili with that one, but Hendon got back into it just before the break, Rohdell Gordon pulling a goal back. It was two-two on the hour, Kofi Anokye-Boadi with the equaliser, but the Tags hoped they’d had the last word when Sak Hassan made it three-two ten minutes from time. They hadn’t, as Tope Fadahunsi made it three-three two minutes from time, and that was how it ended. The Tags remain sixth, and their hosts remain five points from safety. They’ve scored eleven goals between them in their two matches this season.
