Isthmian League round-up | Enfield move three points clear, Jammers win on league return and Dartford win battle of the high-flyers

The Towners made it five league wins in a row after coming from behind to win 3-2 at home against Cray Wanderers.

Cray, who were bidding for their third win in a row, had led early in the second half, Soul Kader making it 2-1 with a smart finish at the near post.

But the home side levelled from the penalty spot just after the hour through Sam Youngs, before Amrit Bansal-McNulty netted the winner 20 minutes from time.

Billy Holland's side now have a three-point cushion to a chasing pack of three teams - Welling United, Carshalton Athletic and Dartford.

Welling climbed to second in the table after defeating Wingate & Finchley 4-1 at the Anthony Martin Community Stadium.

With the scores tied at 1-1 at half-time, a blistering 10-minute spell just after the hour saw the Wings scored three unanswered goals to take the game out of their opponents' reach.

Welling now lead Carshalton on goal difference after the Robins were consigned to back-to-back defeats in the league.

Goals from Jez Pinder and Ben Greenhalgh saw Dartford go 2-0 ahead by half-time at Colston Avenue.

And Dan Smith's penalty with 64 minutes gone meant three goals and three points for the Darts on their travels, as they also moved level on points with the side they triumphed against.

Elsewhere, goals in either half from David Smith and Sol Baugh saw Dulwich Hamlet to a 2-1 victory at home to Brentwood Town.

Baugh's emphatic winner into the top corner came just six minutes after Harry Gibbs had levelled things for Brentwood.

But the three points went the way of the home side, meaning they end the weekend fifth and last season's beaten play-off finalists Brentwood in the relegation zone.

The big winners of the weekend were St Albans City and AFC Whyteleafe, who ran out 4-0 winners at home to Three Bridges and Stanway Rovers respectively.

Inih Effiong was on target twice for the Saints as they picked up a win which saw their opponents drop into the bottom four as a result.

That was because AFC Whyteleafe climbed above them, courtesy of securing their first league win of the season.

All four of their goals came in the second half, with Nile Ranger, Dean Gunner, Helge Orome and Jedd Hoobs on target for Ennio Gonnella's side.

Rounding out the top seven after Matchday 7 are Leatherhead, who came from behind to defeat Aveley 2-1 away from home.

Anas Igozouln scored in either half for the Tanners as they consigned Aveley to their second successive league defeat at home.

It was an entertaining affair at the Bauvill Stadium, meanwhile, as Chatham Town overturned a two-goal deficit to defeat Lewes 3-2.

A quickfire double shortly before-time time from Charlie Walker had Lewes in control at the break.

But Alex Giles pulled back two minutes into the second half to give the Chats some hope.

Then it was the turn of their bench to make the difference, substitutes Ben Allen and Harry Lodovica scoring in the final 15 minutes to win it for the home side.

3-2 was also the scoreline at Maldon & Tiptree as the Jammers, like Chatham, overturned a half-time deficit to claim three points, in the club's first game under new ownership.

Two goals from Whitehawk's Rhys Murphy proved to be in vain as Maldon scored two goals in three second-half minutes to secure a third victory from their opening five league games.

Another of the sides who tasted success at home over the weekend were Eastbourne Borough, who triumphed 3-2 against winless Cheshunt.

The visitors had drawn five of their opening six league games, losing the other, but were unable to stop Eastbourne from ending their wait for a league win, after three defeats in a row by a single goal.

And finally, Burgess Hill Town left it late to rescue a point at home to Ramsgate.

The two teams played out a 2-2 draw as Chris Whelpdale scored his second of the game in the final moments of regular time to deny Ramsgate their second league win in a row.

The Rams remain in the top half, while Burgess Hill sit 13th after stretching their unbeaten run in the league to six matches.
